The Himalayan Range (The word ‘Himalaya’ meaning ‘Home of Snow’) is one of the largest mountain ranges in the world, towering more than 5 miles above sea level and one that separates the Indian subcontinent from the Tibetan Plateau. Apart from being home to the world’s two highest peaks, Mount Everest (29, 029 ft) and K2 | Godwin Austin (28, 251 ft), this magnificent mountain range brushes past a host of countries, the likes of which include Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, China and Nepal. If you thought that was plenty to digest, there’s more in store. The mighty rivers of Indus, Ganges, Brahmaputra and Yangtze all rise in the Himalayas and their combined drainage basin is home to round about 1.3 billion people, including those of Bangladesh. Those were its amazing Geo-graphics. There are also its immaculate, spotless, impeccable white snow-capped peaks, which make The Himalayan Ranges a world-renowned travel destination, with huge scope for adventure tourism activities, one that we specialize.
